Paulette Carlson

A Legendary Lady

Paulette Carlson is a once in a lifetime personality and talent. With Highway 101, she charted four No. 1 hit singles, seven Top 10 hits and won two Country Music Association Awards. As a solo artist, she has charted five times on Hot Country Songs and recorded three studio albums. Her most successful solo single is “I’ll Start with You”.

Heading to Nashville in 1978, she was signed as a staff songwriter for the Oak Ridge Boys’ Silverline/Goldline Publishing Company. She signed a singles contract with RCA Records and released three singles: “You Gotta Get to My Heart”, “I’d Say Yes”, and “Can You Fool”.

Carlson founded Highway 101 in 1986 and the band was signed to Warner Brothers Records. In 1988the band was nominated and took home the Academy of Country Music Award for Top Vocal Group of the Year, as well as the Country Music Association Award for vocal group of the year. They would repeat this success in 1989. In 1992 Paulette would be nominated for Top Female Vocalist with the Academy of Country Music.

After a hiatus Paulette is returning to the music scene and has many new and exciting projects in the works for 2024 and 2025. It is the return of a legend Nashville needs.
