Rusty Steel

Rusty Steel

Long Haired Country Boy (literally)

Some of Steels earliest exposure to music was playing bass in a bluegrass band. He went from performing on backyard porches to thousands strong crowds when he was given the opportunity to open for George Strait at age 14. A defining moment came for Steel when his brother took him to see a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. From that point on his goal has been one thing. Music. Steel grew up in the small town of Erwin Tennessee and came from a very musical family. From rehearsing with his brothers, to performing and recording all over the US. He is a determined and talented man. From New York to Nashville and beyond, his live performances are an experience that will be remembered. With an abundance of onstage charisma, a distinct voice, and an unapologetic passion for his craft, Rusty’s recent music intertwines the classic sound of country music with a rock and roll vocal that is truly unique and enjoyable. Steel signed with Tower Music Group in pursuit of country music and successfully charted his first single, “Who I Am Who I Ain’t” which stayed in print on the Country breakout charts for 6 weeks.
